By Chloe Opens in the Seaport

Take a peek inside the bright space, and try to snag a seat in one of those swings

It’s opening day for the first Boston location of By Chloe (stylized as by CHLOE.), a growing New York City vegan restaurant chain with an enthusiastic following of vegans and non-vegans alike. As previously reported, this Seaport District location (107 Seaport Blvd.) will be followed by a Fenway location in the spring. (Providence will also get a By Chloe later this year.)

Take a look at the 100% vegan menu, which includes everything from meat-free burgers and dairy-free ice cream to Boston-specific items, such as vegan takes on a lobster roll and clam chowder.

Read on for a look inside the sunny, stripe-filled space, which spans 2,400 square feet and seats 43, including a couple of nifty bamboo swing chairs hanging from the ceiling. (Seasonal outdoor seating is expected to launch at a later date.)

By Chloe’s Seaport location is open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. It joins a variety of recently opened or soon-to-open restaurants at the 101 Seaport development, including Aceituna Grill (which expanded from Kendall Square earlier this month), Tikkaway Grill (a Connecticut restaurant that is slated to open this Monday, February 27), Juice Press (a New York brand with three other Boston-area locations; it’ll open March 6), and Yoki Express (a fast-casual version of Medford’s Yoki, opening in early March). 500 feet down the street, the 100th Shake Shack opened in August.
