Station 12 Adds Three New-to-Buffalo Major Retail Brands
Less than one month into 2026, and Station 12 has had its second tenant announcement of the year.
WS Development has secured four new businesses for the Amherst shopping center, with “the next wave of announcements to follow in the coming months,” according to a news release.
The latest additions include restaurant Black & Blue Steak and Crab; mattress brand Tempur-Pedic; outdoor gear and apparel brand The North Face; and eyewear retailer Warby Parker. The latter three will be new to the Buffalo retail market. Black & Blue Steak and Crab already has a location on Sheridan Drive in Amherst.
The release did not say when those specific brands will open but the developer has previously said tenants at Station 12 will begin opening in late 2026.
WS Development announced Jan. 16 that Industrious, a workplace experience company, will be coming to the Amherst center. The tenant, which will take up about 21,500 square feet across two levels, will include private offices, meeting spaces, co-working areas and a common-area kitchen. Industrious will open in late 2026.
In 2025, WS Development released a 12-tenant lineup that included well-known brands such as Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn and Anthropologie.
The developer has filed four tenant buildout permits with the Town of Amherst over the last month.
Brian Sciera, senior vice president of leasing, told Business First in late 2025 that some tenants would open in late 2026 in time for the holiday shopping season. Most should be in place by summer 2027.
Overall, WS Development’s vision for the center is to create an upscale, open-air, specialty tenant site. The project will have between 50 and 60 tenants in storefronts ranging from 500 square feet to 10,000 square feet. The project will include public art and a 10,000-square-foot green space open to the community.
Construction has already begun on two structures valued at $15 million for which the developer was issued a building permit Nov. 24, 2025.
