The Bagel Table (9 Boylston St. at The Street, Chestnut Hill) opened at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, January 16, per a post on the new shop’s Instagram account. It replaces Rosie’s Bakery, which operated at that location for 42 years, and honors the longtime Chestnut Hill staple by serving some of its menu items, including cookies and rugelach.

The bagels at the Bagel Table are made by local company OMG! Bagels, and visitors to the Bagel Table might recognize those bagels — OMG! Bagels had a pop-up shop at Chestnut Hill’s The Street development back in 2015.

Along with bagels and schmear, the Bagel Table serves other breakfast items, sandwiches, and pastries, including English muffins, smoked fish, deli sandwiches, cheesecake, black and white cookies, crumb cake, and more.
