All-day dining destination The Henry has officially opened its doors at Plaza del Lago, rolling out a seasonal, chef-driven menu and a refreshed cocktail program. Founded by restaurateur Sam Fox and hospitality firm, Fox Restaurant Concepts (Blanco Cocina + Cantina, Wildflower, Flower Child, and more), The Henry opened in Arcadia, Arizona in 2013 and has since expanded to thirteen locations across the country, including this, its first Midwestern location.

Taking up residence at Plaza del Lago in Wilmette, the new location highlights breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. On the menu are beloved signature dishes, including short rib pot stickers with toasted sesame and the harvest bowl, a lunch specialty crafted with melted sweet potatoes, ancient grains, grilled portobello mushrooms and caramelized cauliflower. Both shareable small plates and hearty main courses round out the menu, including highlights such as umami Brussels sprouts, pressed yellowtail sushi and Korean prime skirt steak with pickled shiitake mushrooms.

Breakfast and brunch spotlight a wide range of offerings, including fan favorites like the bacon-topped Original Egg Sandwich, house-made pastries and specialty coffee, available daily both to-go and for dine-in. The bar program offers refreshing takes on classic cocktails, such as seasonal spritzes and signature stirred drinks like the yuzu-infused lychee martini and the smoked pineapple margarita with Corazón Blanco.

Designed for seamlessly transitioning between the early morning hours to the end of the night, the 5,400-square-foot space is anchored by a circular bar, layered interiors and a wraparound patio. Subtle nods to members’ club tradition are woven throughout the space, incorporating dark woods, marble finishes, leather banquettes and a forestry-inspired mural. Gallery walls offer a curated mix of regional references and vintage elements, while lush greenery and classic awnings offer a chic atmosphere for gatherings of all kinds.

Conveniently located within the revitalized, historic open-air shopping destination Plaza del Lago, the location is situated in close proximity to prestigious retail destinations such as Lilly Pulitzer, Veronica Beard and James Perse, in addition to a lineup of soon-to-debut destinations such as Oscar de la Renta, DÔEN and Hermès.
