One Boston Wharf Road is a 17-story, 707,000 square foot, mixed-use building designed by world-renowned Henning Larsen architects of Copenhagen, Denmark. In addition to 630,000 square feet of office space leased to Amazon, One Boston Wharf Road will feature ground floor retail and a new performing arts center, comprising two live performance venues totaling 700 seats, respectively, which together will add significant state-of-the-art capacity for the performing arts in Boston. The building will front on a 1.5-acre park that will open later this year as the epicenter of Harbor Way, a pedestrian-friendly artery that will connect Summer Street to the water’s edge, designed by James Corner Field Operations, the landscape architect behind New York’s High Line. One Boston Wharf Road will be the largest net-zero carbon office building in Boston and is pursuing LEED Platinum certification. Construction will reach completion later this year.
