The Current

A recipient of Fast Company's Innovation by Design Award, The Current is a novel approach to pop-up retail designed by Brooklyn-based architecture firm nArchitects. Composed of nine freestanding structures along Seaport Boulevard and Seaport Common, it creates unique opportunities for online-only and direct-to-consumer brands to explore brick-and-mortar retail. Since its 2018 launch, The Current has hosted dozens of emerging and established brands, immersing them in the Seaport's diverse community of forward-thinking residents, employees, and visitors.
